EVAS 2024

EVAS 2024
By E / September 27, 2024
The Enterprise Vision Awards 2024 (EVAS) was more than an awards ceremony, it was a powerful celebration of ambition, resilience and female leadership. Held at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool, the event brought together hundreds of women from across the UK to recognise outstanding achievements in business, leadership and social impact.
As an event photographer, it was a privilege to capture an evening filled with pride, emotion and inspiration.

From the moment guests arrived, the atmosphere was electric. The room was full of hardworking women, founders, leaders, innovators and changemakers, each with a story deserving to be seen and remembered. EVAS is recognised as the UK’s largest celebration of women in business, and being part of that energy behind the camera was genuinely humbling.
Every image from the EVAS tells a story of courage, determination and the quiet strength it takes to lead.
The evening began on a high note with an uplifting performance from the inspirational dance group ASH (Aim Sky High), setting an energetic and empowering tone for the night ahead. Guests were then treated to an elegant three‑course dining experience, with fine food and wine providing the perfect opportunity to relax, connect and celebrate in style. As the evening progressed, anticipation built as the awards ceremony took centre stage, shining a spotlight on the remarkable achievements of women in business from across the UK.
The night concluded just as it began, with joy, movement and celebration — as the dance floor filled and guests came together to end a truly unforgettable evening on a high.

Events like the Enterprise Vision Awards are about far more than trophies. They are about visibility, recognition and confidence. Every smile, tear, embrace and standing ovation told a story. My role as a photographer was to preserve those moments, the raw reactions, the quiet nerves before announcements, and the sheer joy when winners heard their names called.

The lighting, staging and scale of EVAS 2024 created the perfect backdrop for impactful event photography. From wide shots of the packed auditorium to intimate portraits on stage, the evening offered countless moments that reflected the strength and diversity of women in business today.

The Enterprise Vision Awards 2024 winners represented a broad range of industries, from professional services and creative industries to sustainability, hospitality and social enterprise. Over 150 women were recognised during the evening, highlighting the depth of talent and innovation across the UK.

Some of the standout honours included:

  • Business Woman of the Year – Katrina Hutchinson O’Neill (Join Talent), recognised for redefining recruitment and advocating for better funding equality for women entrepreneurs.
  • Outstanding Achievement Award – Christine Nichols (Atlantic Pacific Group), celebrated for her leadership, international success and commitment to gender equality in business.
  • Inspirational Woman of the Year – Juliet Sanders (Feeding Families), praised for turning personal hardship into meaningful social impact.

Alongside these categories, awards were presented across sectors including new business, scale‑up, creative industry, sustainable business, professional services and not‑for‑profit, each winner adding to the collective story of resilience and success.

At an event like EVAS, photography isn’t just documentation, it’s legacy. For many winners and finalists, these images become part of their professional story: used on websites, press releases, social media and award submissions for years to come.

Capturing moments authentically helps amplify the visibility that EVAS stands for. It ensures the achievements of women in business don’t end with the night itself, but continue to inspire others long after the final award is handed out.

The Enterprise Vision Awards continues to grow year on year, not just as an awards ceremony but as a platform for opportunity, confidence and connection for women in business across the UK. I feel incredibly fortunate to have captured moments from EVAS 2024 and look forward to seeing how these stories continue to unfold.
